Support

Questions, bugs, refunds, or anything else, email support@weldjudge.com.

Replies usually come within one business day.

It helps to include your device model, your iOS version, and a screenshot if something looks wrong.

Subscriptions and refunds

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us. To cancel or request a refund, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Deleting your data

Everything Weld Judge stores lives on your phone. Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no account to close and nothing of yours on our servers to erase.

Privacy Policy

Effective September 18, 2026

The short version. Weld Judge has no accounts and no logins. Your weld photos are analyzed and then discarded, never stored on our servers. Your scan history stays on your phone. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising or tracking SDKs.

What we collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location, and the app has no sign-up or login. We have no way to identify you personally.

Weld photos

When you scan a weld, the photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our analysis service, which passes it to Google's Gemini model to produce the rating and the list of defects. The image is held in memory only for as long as that analysis takes, and is then discarded. It is not written to a database, not saved to cloud storage, and not used to train any model by us.

Photos you scan are saved on your own device so you can look back at them. That copy never leaves your phone.

What stays on your phone

Your scan history, including the photos, scores, defect notes, and timestamps, is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. It is not synced to us or to any cloud service. If you delete the app, it is gone.

Subscriptions

We use Superwall to show subscription options and to track whether a subscription is active. Superwall receives an anonymous device identifier, your device model and iOS version, your language and region, and records of which paywall screens you saw and what you tapped. It does not receive your name or your weld photos.

Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card number or billing details.

Who else touches your data

We do not use any analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash reporting services.

Children

Weld Judge is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to look up, export, correct, or delete on request. Everything the app keeps is on your device and under your control. If you have a question about this, email support@weldjudge.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
